Outdoor Cooking

Children use the produce which has been grown in our nursery allotment to cook their own meals and snacks.
Forest School and outdoor cooking is promoted through our amazing Forest School programme and outdoor kitchen facilities.

The theory behind being outdoors, is that it allows children to connect with nature promoting health and well-being.

The Little Plant

“In the heart of a seed,
Buried deep, so deep,
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep.

‘Wake,’ said the sunshine,
‘And creep to the light,’

Of the rain-drops bright.
